New Waterford second annual beer, wine and music festival | News, Sports, Jobs

NEW WATERFORD — The village of New Waterford will host its second annual beer, wine and music festival at the village park from 4 to 11 p.m. Friday and noon to 11 p.m. Saturday.

Mayor Shane Patrone said the hope is to raise $15,000 to $20,000 to fund new playground equipment for the park.

The event with free admission was started last year as a means to bring some money into the village, along with providing a fun event for people to attend. Attendees should bring their own lawn chairs to watch the bands. No outside food or alcohol will be allowed. Some of the companies participating with premium wines and craft beers include McKim’s Honeyvine, Sundog Cellars Ciderhouse and Winery, Aeonian Brewing Co., Ill Will Brewing, Fat Head’s Brewery, Birdfish, Urban Artifact, Candella Distillery and Luva Bella Winery.

Food will be available for purchase through various food vendors.

The band lineup on Friday includes Cameron Pierson at 5 p.m., Fuzz Aldrin at 7 p.m. and Jukebox Heroes at 9 p.m. On Saturday, the bands include Brent Bregar at 1 p.m., John Branch at 3 p.m., Cold Shot at 5 p.m., Blood, Sugar, Sex and Magik (Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute) at 7 p.m. and Bonfire (AC/DC Tribute) at 9 p.m.

The park address is 3760 Village Park Road, New Waterford.
