Bordeaux wines on tap for Café Boulud’s next wine dinner in Palm Beach

Café Boulud at The Brazilian Court is set to celebrate the prestigious French wine-growing region of Bordeaux at its Jan. 20 wine dinner.

Bordeaux wines selected by the restaurant’s sommelier Imre Papp will be paired with a multi-course dinner.

The evening begins with a 6:45 p.m. reception, followed by dinner at 7 p.m.

Executive chef Dieter Samijn and head pastry chef Julie Franceschini have planned a four-course dinner that begins with house-made ham with sweetbreads, apple and nut crust.

Celery root agnolotti with duck consommé and wild mushrooms comprises the second course, followed by a third course of beef Rossini with black winter truffle, foie gras and pommes soufflé.

Mango cheesecake with Graham sable, pineapple marmalade and kalamansi ganache is planned for dessert.

Pairing wines for the evening include Château Potensac, Médoc 2010 and Château d’Armailhac, Pauillac cinquième cru classé 2010.

The dinner is $295 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
