The 2021 Tasmanian Whisky Week (TWW) program features a range of diverse whisky-inspired events which celebrate the achievements of Tasmanian whisky distillers.

The annual event is set to delight the palates of whisky lovers across the state when it returns from 9 -15 of August.

Tasmania makes some of the best whisky in the world and our international reputation continues to grow with many local producers recognised through a number of highly-acclaimed international awards.

TWW has strong links to Tasmania’s food and beverage brand which is why the Tasmanian Liberal Government is providing $80,000 to support the delivery of the event in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Tasmanian Whisky Week is another example of our state’s unique and bespoke events which provide a boost to the state’s economy and enhance our reputation as a premier hospitality destination.

Attendees are able to hear the stories behind Tasmanian Whisky production with events such as the Whisky Masterclass, Whisky Trivia, Speed Dating with Distillers, Battle of the Single Malts (Scotland Vs Tasmania), The Tasmanian Spirit Showcase.
