The hazy days of summer are winding down, but that doesn’t mean cocktail hour must do the same.

The Daily News found five restaurants in the region that serve incredible cocktails, and asked them what their most popular one was.

These were the best sellers:

The Chill Espresso Martini

Chill Kitchen and Bar (416 Boston Post Road East, Marlborough)

Falling asleep at the bar isn’t something you’d have to worry about with this 13 ½ oz. drink, which is the Chill Kitchen and Bar’s best-selling cocktail. The tasty drink features freshly brewed espresso, Mozart chocolate liqueur, Kahlua coffee liqueur, Stoli vanilla-flavored vodka, Boston Harbor maple cream liqueur and Van Gogh espresso vodka. The drink runs for $13.

Fifteen other cocktails are offered on the menu, ranging from $10-$13. Other popular drinks here include:

The Old Fashioned

Less Than, Greater Than (28 Main St., Hudson)

The classics never go out of fashion, which is perhaps why the Old Fashioned is the most popular cocktail at Less Than, Greater Than, despite its vast drink selection. The restaurant even uses a recipe dating back to the 1880s when the drink was first invented, said manager Alan Ercolani. The old-timey drink features a hand-cut chunk of clear ice (cut from 20-pound ice blocks) with rye whiskey, turbinado sugar, angostura bitters and orange bitters.

Where to eat in MetroWest: From JFK to Aerosmith, Mendon’s New England Steak and Seafood is destination dining

“It’s a super-simple recipe that really highlights the subtle nuances of whatever base spirit you’re using,” Ercolani said.

  • The Moulin Rouge: An orange gin with an apéritif, lemon, apricot and grenadine
  • The Ghost Of Duke Ellington: A pear brandy with Amaro Montenegro, Bianco Vermouth and Cinnamon Cordial liqueur

The menu also includes spirits and cream cocktails like the peanut butter cup, which features ice cream with peanut butter whiskey, sauce and chocolate.
