Mr. Keith Patridge, President/CEO of the McAllen Economic Development Corporation will be the guest of the President/CEO of the RGV Hispanic Chamber Cynthia M. Sakulenki at the monthly “Coffee with the CEO” webinar series on Tuesday,  August 31st at 9am.  “We are so looking forward to hearing about his daily routines, the Maquila Industry, upcoming projects, etc.

Mr. Patridge has been working at the McAllen Economic Development Corporation and McAllen Foreign Trade Zone for 34 years. He has a great deal of experience in assisting companies with their binational start-up operations in McAllen, TX or Reynosa, MX. He has worked with Companies from around the world in planning a strategic move or expansion to this cost competitive market.

The MEDC’s primary goal is to create jobs and generate investment activity for the residents of McAllen, Texas and Reynosa, Mexico. A “teamwork” philosophy and a well-focused mission are the driving forces that have enabled MEDC to be one of the most successful economic development organizations in the region. The McAllen Economic Development Corporation has assisted 706 companies in the relocation and startup of successful operations in McAllen and Reynosa resulting in the creation of over 228,000 new direct jobs.

Mr. Patridge and his team maintain a strong working relationship with Mexico officials and business leaders in Reynosa and the State of Tamaulipas to successfully attract new investment and jobs, develop infrastructure, enhance workforce education and training, to support their client companies and their employees.  His experience in business development, sales, operations, and general management for a number of national & international companies have provided him with a unique insight into the important elements required to successfully start up new operations in this binational location.

Keith holds two Bachelor degrees from Missouri Western State College and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
